On Tuesday 24 October 2017, Powerful Media Ltd will host a special celebration to launch the 2018 Powerlist and highlight the outstanding contribution made by influential women of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage in the UK at the EY sponsored Powerlist Influencers Dinner at the renowned Drapers’ Hall in the City of London.
As anyone who has attended our previous gala dinners at the V&A, Mansion House etc will attest, this is by far the most prestigious UK corporate event in the African, African Caribbean and African American calendar. This black tie gala dinner offers a chance to network with UK’s movers and shakers and is an ideal opportunity for you and your organisation to congratulate and support your colleagues listed in the magazine as well as meet with C-Suite execs in tech and financial services, law firms; leaders in the arts; some of the UK’s top physicians and surgeons; world class entertainers; world champion sports stars; not to mention influential religious and community leaders.
In keeping with the high-end nature and celebration of excellence that define this event, our current sponsors are EY, Thomson Reuters, Lloyds Banking Group, Mediacom, Bloomberg, Royal Air Force, Executive Leadership Council, Viacom and Tristan Capital Partners to name but a few.

The evening starts with a champagne reception, followed by a tasteful dining experience in the sumptuous Great Hall where a senior government or business focussed speaker will deliver the keynote speech. The entertainment provided at this star studded event will be amazing but there will still be time to network too as that is what the Powerlist receptions are all about.
Furthermore, the evening also doubles as a fundraiser so pledging forms will be readily available for guests who would like to help raise funds for the our associated charities who work tirelessly to help children of African & Caribbean origin realise their full potential.
Every year we have a specific focus and this year we will be highlighting and celebrating the outstanding contribution made by influential women of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage in the UK over the past three centuries.  Among other features of the evening, there will be a specially edited exhibition based on this theme hosted by the Black Cultural Archives.
