As UK Projects Lead at Jasper Women’s Health, Ogorchukwu has led local initiatives to improve access to menstrual health support. Building on the charity’s period hygiene project in Ghana, she focused her efforts on Southwark in London.

After directly reaching out to shelters and day centres, she collaborated with over ten organisations to support homeless and vulnerable women in the borough. One of Ogorchukwu’s proudest achievements includes securing a partnership with a centre for asylum seekers, where she coordinated the delivery of more than 100 sanitary packages.

She also introduced DBS checks for school workshops on tackling the stigma around menstrual health and facilitated a reproductive rights panel featuring UN speakers.

Alongside this, Ogorchukwu is a two-time award-winning spoken word poet. Since stepping out of her comfort zone two years ago, she has delivered over 50 performances – using her voice to shed light on critical issues at events such as the 10,000 Black Intern Foundation Awards. She was also recognised as a ‘One to Watch’ by Remel London’s The Mainstream.

After graduation, she’s hoping to move into corporate law with ambitions to specialise in either mergers and acquisitions or tax.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I really want to be a Partner and continue working with NGOs.
