Known for her dynamic leadership and commitment to empowering others, Ola Fadipe is a senior director at Google and a HR leader with more than two decades of experience shaping global talent strategies.
She currently oversees talent acquisition across APAC, India, and EMEA, responsible for more than 50% of Google’s annual hires. Ola’s tenure is marked by her ability to foster inclusive cultures and implement talent strategies that transcend borders.
This spring, Ola was also appointed independent non-executive director at accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP. She will serve as a member of the firm’s public interest committee as well as several other governance bodies. BDO senior partner Matt White said: “Ola will bring a fresh perspective on the digital agenda and talent strategies shaping the future of our business, working with the other INEs to support our growth ambitions.”
Ola first joined Google in 2019, as senior director of talent acquisition for EMEA, before rising to global head of performance management and, since May 2023, senior director of people experience.
Prior to her career in tech, Ola had significant experience in financial services and consulting, particularly at BlackRock where she was the firm’s chief talent officer for EMEA, and a strong background in large-scale transformation. Ola also served as a non-executive director for HM Revenue and Customs.
Her dedication to amplifying the voices of under-represented talent earned her recognition as a trailblazer in the industry. For her impressive leadership, she was made a ‘Heart of BlackRock’ award recipient.
