Influencer and entrepreneur Patricia Bright is a globally known British beauty, fashion and lifestyle sensation with more than five million social media followers to her name. She has hosted a Hillary Clinton-backed YouTube series, been showcased on Forbes.com and collaborated with huge brands from Mac to Dior. At the end of 2023 she launched her own diverse hair care brand, UWA. The company has also partnered with Hair Reborn – a charity that offers support, advice and free hair-styling services to those experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Patricia began her career as an accounting graduate working for Merrill Lynch but pivoted to social media full time after launching her YouTube channel as a student in 2013 and quickly becoming the UK’s first Black female creator to hit one million YouTube subscribers.

In January 2020 she launched The Break, an online platform offering practical, relatable advice to young women on topics such as investment, property and relationships. It offers online programmes giving tips on building an online business and social media presence – covering everything from tax to templates. The platform also has its own YouTube channel and a podcast featuring interviews with successful and inspiring businesspeople from a range of industries.

In 2019, Patricia co-wrote a self-help book called Heart & Hustle, outlining how to build a business in the digital space. Forbes.com has described Patricia’s journey as “inspiring” in its “degree of structure and planning” as well as her “frank and pragmatic approach [that] guarantees an impact on the world that goes well beyond the internet age”.
